Recent Work

Here’s a round of Lord Judah’s recent projects.

  1. Highly Intelligent People Healing Our Planet, a project that took 18 young people, ages 12- 22 from all over Westchester, to create a CD of original hip hop songs inspired by Dr. King\’s Six Principles of Nonviolence. They brought other youth to join in on conversation at an annual community gathering called Ending Violence Building Hope, where they explored the persistence of violence in our society and our world, particularly in the lives of youth they also discussed how to educate and activate to eradicate violence, and how to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (Partnered with the Westchester M.L.K Institute for Nonviolence).
  2. The City of White Plains West Side story project was a national model that used artistic music expression to explore and improve relationships between youth and police. [Partnered with the City of White Plains Performing Arts Center]
  3. District wide Poetry Slam, for Mount Vernon High Schools.
  4. Judah Also heads a Hip Hop Based Organization Called the Westchester Hip Hop Cooperative Economics Initiative that give local Artist the chance to network with people , display ,sell and perform their works.
  5. “AND STILL WE RISE” A 2012 YOUTH VOTE INITIATIVE USING HIP HOP TO INFORM THE COMMUNITY
